In Global Partnership

This week’s Inspiration comes from the UU Partner Church Council (UUPCC):

A few UU’s hailing from the Seattle area visited with their partner church in Torockoszentgyorgy, Transylvania, during Thanksgiving, bringing with them greetings from Westside UU Congregation and East Shore Unitarian Church. While there, they filmed and edited together a video about the visit. This is an excerpt of that footage, where the children from Torockoszentgyorgy Unitarian community are highlighted and given an opportunity to send greetings to the children of their partner churches in the Seattle area.

For twenty years the Unitarian Universalist Partner Church Council (UUPCC) has encouraged and supported almost 200 congregational partnerships between North American Unitarian Universalists and Unitarians and Unitarian Universalists around the world. These relationships weave together the lives and stories of people who share our fundamental affirmations of freedom of conscience in matters of religion, tolerance for those with different beliefs, a reasoned approach to religious ideas, and a willingness to grow and change in our religious understandings.
